A Message from the Wedding Planner

We interviewed Event Solutions SF about her experience planning a wedding during a pandemic, and it was so great to hear her point of view. The whole team was amazing to work with, if you are having a wedding in the bay area, we highly recommend their planning team, along with event design company Flowers by Edgar.

Describe your experience with working with the couple: Rachit & Jainy were planning a multi wedding extravaganza, and we were lucky enough to plan every detail for them.

The wedding plans changed a bit after the world got hit by the pandemic. Regardless, this sweet couple was so pleasant to work with, even though there were so much uncertainty during the planning process.

The wedding took place in the Bay Area, the entire weekend had such beautiful weather as well!

We loved being a part of this incredible couple’s journey, from beginning to end.

They got married during the month of July in 2020, with a very intimate crowd of their immediate family.

We loved that the couple took extra precautions to ensure that everyone felt safe, with each of their celebrations and ceremonies.

The wedding designer was Flowers by Edgar, their team did an incredible job the entire setup. Rachit & Jainy had their first look in front of their ceremony area, before the rest of the festivities began, and it was so emotional.

We were presented with many challenges a few days before the wedding date and as a team we prevailed!

The ceremony took place at Crystal Springs Fairview in San Jose, and we got lucky with the weather, it was just perfect. If you take a look at the ceremony images, you will see that Flowers by Edgar killed it with the design!

This wedding was in the summertime, so the weather was just perfect. We were happy to do all we could to ensure their wedding was as safe as possible for their immediate family, most importantly we were happy to see them so happy to become husband and wife!

The best moment for their wedding day was seeing them walking down the aisle as a married couple!

Did the vision for their wedding change throughout the planning process? Yes, the whole vision changed due to the Covid-19 restrictions implied by the county and the venue. The wedding was supposed to be celebrated by almost 300 guests and 3 days of festivities. Instead, it was all done in two days with 30 guests.

Any advice you have about wedding planning in 2020?: Celebrations do not need to be cancelled entirely, they can be modified to be safe. Try to find a venue with an outdoor space or a big enough space to accommodate everyone and are able to practice social distancing!

Wedding Reception Design Theme: Jainy and Rachit original wedding theme was romantic with a rustic and whimsical theme.

They wanted both the ceremony and reception to be outdoors with lot's of fairy lights and dancing under the stars.

Wedding Reception Design Inspiration: The vision was created by the artists at Flowers by Edgar. Both Edgar and Macio created a beautiful reception space in the backyard of the groom's parents house.
