A Message From The Bride
Describe your experience with wedding planning : The wedding planning experience for us was one to remember and a time that we will always cherish. It was definitely a roller coaster for us! Our wedding was originally planned for March 2020 but we found out some life changing news (as if getting married wasn't enough), we were EXPECTING!
This surely rocked both of our worlds and we both had to come up with a new plan FAST! We partnered with Love it Events and the whole entire experience was truly incredible. From our first conversation with the CEO Lisa, we knew she was the one who could bring our vision to life. She brought so much experience, passion and vision to the table. We knew that her ideas would collide perfectly with our vision as well and that we could create some serious magic.
We moved our wedding date up to November 2019 and had to plan our dream wedding within 90 days. Stressful I know, but exciting! We enjoyed all of the meetings, selecting of vendors, choosing color palettes, decor, florals and tastings.
There is so much that goes into making your wedding the most special and magical day ever and we could not have asked for more. We enjoyed partnering with all of our vendors. Everyone was so professional and accommodating, this made things run smoothly and efficiently.
My advice for brides to be is to have fun and enjoy every step of the process. I know it sounds cliche but it really does go by fast. The more present you are with every decision you and your hubby to be are making, the more you enjoy the overall experience.
Wedding planning can get stressful at times but what really matters is the union between you and your partner. This is the biggest moment of your life so appreciate and fully take in every second.
Our wedding was a fairytale and I am so grateful to have worked with a true dream team! Still on cloud 9 thinking about our big day, the greatest day of our lives.
What are your favorite moments of your wedding day?: The most memorable part of the whole day for me was our wedding ceremony. I just remember walking down aisle with my father and seeing all of our closest friends and family, our officiant, the wedding party and my husband waiting to receive me.
It was just so special and magical and so much love overflowed the room it was just an indescribable feeling.
Describe your experience with finding your wedding gown: I did a lot of research on gowns in general prior to actually going shopping. I wanted to make sure I had some baseline information down before diving in. Surprisingly there was so much to learn about selecting the perfect gown for the big day.
I was not one of those brides who already knew what gown she was going to wear prior to the proposal, I had no idea! I started figuring out what style I wanted and envisioned what I would look like walking down the aisle. Saying yes to the dress is one of the biggest decisions you make throughout the wedding planning process so I didn't want to rush.
I tried on many dresses but the one I ended up selecting was just perfect for me. It was ivory, lace and embellished all over to make me sparkle like a star. It was a trumpet fit with a long dramatic scalloped train. It also had ruched backside, it was just LOVELY. I instantly fell in love with the gown and knew I had to have it. I said yes to the dress and the rest was history!
Everything was so elegant, our vision came out exactly the way we wanted! All thanks to our incredible team of vendors.
Any advice you may have about wedding planning? My advice would be to do tons of research, choose a great planner and enjoy the experience.
This is a day we all dream of, take advantage and be present for every moment, every detail and every second. We loved planning and everything that came with it. Such a busy time for both us but when you have a committed team beside you, you don't stress as much.
Wedding Reception Design Inspiration : We wanted something luxurious and grand! We wanted a timeless and romantic theme to give our guest an experience of a lifetime. We wanted everything to be ivory and gold. The venue already had its own character so we wanted to add to it and not take anything away.
We wanted ivory table clothes, gold table ware, ivory floral arrangements, and ivory candles. Our sweetheart table had blush florals meshed in with the ivory that gave it a beautiful touch that only Lisa could bring to life.
Our dance floor really made the space come to life. It was a gold, metallic, mirrored dance floor that really opened up the room and gave it the perfect finish.
