A Message from the Bride
Describe your experience with wedding planning: The best advice I can offer is to really try to enjoy the process and gather a group of support!
Honest to truth, my vendors were my backbone, I had to rely on them for everything and they came through for it all!
A few vendors made my experience just so much better - my incredible photographer Rene, and the event company we worked with.
I was so lucky to work with my wedding planner, she was the most important part of the puzzle. I loved working with the team at Mirror Mirror Events!
Describe your experience with finding your wedding gown: My wedding gown was my first choice from years ago, before we even got engaged. When I saw it for the first time, I saved it on my phone immediately!
After getting engaged and looking for my wedding dress, I never found anything like this so ultimately I knew that this was the one.
I purchased my dress two and a half years before my wedding date, when you know you know!
How did you meet: We've known each other since middle school but we always had mutual friends.
After college, my friend told me she was meeting up with him to catch up and asked me to join and the rest is history!
Describe the moment he proposed: It was at New York's Times Square. He actually purchased a billboard, and put our photo up along with "will you marry me?"
Wedding Reception Design Theme: I wanted a reception with color, and there was no specific theme, I just knew I wasn't an all-white wedding kind of person.
Wedding Reception Design Inspiration: I love mixing and matching different aspects with unique elements, and this is something we truly wanted to incorporate to our wedding reception.
I also choose colors and design ideas from my personal life. For example, my favorite color is purple so that was a big part of the color tones we used.
I also love Pampas grass so you bet we made it work with our design! The rustic meets color and glam reception, just exactly what we envisioned (and more!).
The best part of our wedding day was definitely being able to celebrate with all our family and friends.
All the feelings we experienced that day were one of a kind, we had never felt more love before and it was amazing!
Any advice you have for 2022 brides: Make decisions quick and easy. Try not to overthink!.
