A Message from the Bride
Describe your experience with finding your wedding gown: When it came to my wedding gown, I was very specific to what I wanted. I knew that I wanted a very detailed and unique dress. I also knew I wanted a long sleeve dress.
I went to the Pallas Couture trunk show in NYC and met the incredible team there. I got to see their amazing work first hand and explained to them what my vision was. They completely understood my vision!
They were able to turn my dream into a reality, which was the best feeling to be as a bride.
My wedding gown turned out even better than I could have imagined. The process was amazing and they made sure every single detail was perfect.
The Pallas team is such a caring and loving team and their talent is impeccable.
I am so happy that I was a Pallas bride and that I fully trusted them to create my custom Pallas Haute Couture gown.
Our wedding day was a dream come true, and to be able to celebrate our love with our favorite family and friends was so special to us.
When it came to wedding planning during the pandemic, it was not always easy. But, postponing our wedding day allowed us to have the wedding we have always dreamed about with vendors we adore.
Describe the moment he proposed: When John was ready to pop the question, he started preparing an extravagant proposal in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
He created a fake fashion event invitation and tricked me into thinking that they would be attending a summer party for David Yurman. He even received the help of a David Yurman director on creating the fake invitation, and even had the invitation sent from him.
Little did I know that when she arrived and turned the corner by Jane's Carousel, she would be surrounded by friends and family from far and wide as her new fiancé got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever together.
How did you meet? Yasmine and John were always meant for each other. They were originally friends who got to know each other over several church events in New Jersey where they both grew up.
After college, Yasmine moved to DC where she began working there. A few years later, John also accepted a job offer in DC, but a career was not the only thing he was starting on his new journey.
Yasmine and John grew closer together and before they knew it, they were two best friends began going on dates.
What are your favorite moments of your wedding day? Our favorite moment was when the church doors opened and Yasmine walked down the aisle.
John was emotional and started crying when he saw his soon to be wife walk in.
After the rough path of planning a wedding during the pandemic, it was at that moment where we both felt that it was all worth it and that our dream finally became a reality.
The day was finally here and we would get to spend the rest of our lives together. The rush of emotions was magical and it is something we will both remember forever!
How could I get so lucky? Marrying my dream guy at my dream wedding venue!
The fairytale wedding of their dreams took place at Legacy Castle in New Jersey, and it was straight out of a storybook.
The colors were so beautiful, with the best fairytale feels.
We worked with Nada at Wedded Events to bring our vision to life! We wanted to have over the top floral and allow our guests to walk into a room that made them say "wow".
We wanted it to feel like a royal fairytale, drawing inspiration from the castle, and wanted soft colors, but also something that gave some dimension.
Wedding Reception Design Theme: Our wedding reception design theme was definitely romantic, enchanted and classic. Everything was white and gold and all the florals were white mixed with shades of light pinks.
We wanted to keep everything looking elegant and royal to match the beauty of The Legacy Castle.
The Legacy Castle was my dream wedding venue. I always dreamed of having my wedding there and going on a gondola ride on the lake surrounding the castle!
We could not thank our amazing vendors enough for making our day more special than we could have ever imagined..
It is hard to even put into words the rush we felt when we did our grand entrance, seeing all our friends and family there to celebrate us, we were just blown away with the outpouring of love!
There are too many special moments from our night to even begin, let’s just say we could not have imagined a greater wedding day.
