A Message from the Bride to Be
Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: We wanted a location that not only would combine our love for beautiful scenery, but also gave us a chance to have a mini getaway before the wedding.
Westlake Village Inn was the perfect place to take beautiful photos in the gardens and vineyard, while also having time to enjoy each others company after the photoshoot.
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session? Things will go wrong! Don't panic! For instance, Hakop forgot his shirts he was going to wear (yes that's right), and I stepped on my white dress and got it dirty. We both laughed it off, and made it work.
Important thing is to embrace the moment, have fun, and remember that your love is the most important factor that will shine through your photos!
Tell us about your PreWedding Session location: Westlake Village Inn has diverse settings that include beautiful gardens, landscaping, and vineyards that made our pictures so unique! It was the perfect combination of greenery, lakeside views, and Spanish style architecture.
We loved it because we felt like we were in another country, when we were merely just an hour away. It also had great restaurants and most importantly WINE!
What was your favorite part about your session?: My favorite part of the session was the realization that after several months of stress and planning that our special day is almost here.
It was the first time we truly felt everything is finally coming togeher, and in two short months we will be husband and wife!
Describe the moment he proposed! Hakop knows me so well! He knows i love the snow and views, so what better place then Mammoth Mountain?! I was under the impression that we were there for a friends birthday, but in fact, it was a trip he planned to propose. I was so surprised and in awe at his attention to detail, from the ring to having a photographer there to capture our special moment.
He truly went above and beyond to make our proposal special and unique. It was the happiest day of both of our lives and it's a Valentines Day I will never forget!
Tell us about your very first date! Our first date was at Castaway on my 24th birthday. We were both nervous and cautious because we were trying to transition out of the "friend-zone", but after the first date we knew we were meant to be, and the rest is history!
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session: We've known each other since the 9th grade. We were friends all throughout high school and with time, our friendship grew into a relationship. We are truly each others best friend and we are so grateful that we have grown together as one and we can't wait to see what the future holds!
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding? We are very excited to come together with our closest family and friends to celebrate our love through good music, food, and lots of dancing!
