Elegantly Whimsical Jewish Wedding at the Saddlerock Ranch
Wedding in Malibu
Melody & Shawn
A Message from the Bride
Describe your experience with wedding planning: When it came to wedding during the pandemic it had plenty of unpredictability, but were lucky to have our families by our side through it all.
My planners and family truly helped our dream day come true!
Honestly, spending the morning with my girls and getting dolled up was a lot of fun.
L’amour Events Production and Hollywood Event Rentals went above and beyond all my wildest dreams. It was the most magical wedding day.
My advice to every bride would be to really enjoy every moment of the wedding day.
Describe your experience with finding your wedding gown: I knew it was the one because I felt super confident in it, and I couldn’t stop smiling.
The mermaid fit of my Marchesa gown was just perfect for me, and could not imagine anything else for my special day!
How did you meet? Shawn and I had known each other through our families who become close family friends over the years. We were first friends and made out transition to dating, and well and the rest was history..
Describe the moment he proposed: He planned an entire day on our first trip to Sedgley Woods in Philadelphia. The moment he asked me to be his wife, well time stood still!
The chuppah was covered in my favorite florals, designed by the best team!
When it came time for our ceremony, I couldn’t wait to see Shawn’s face as I walked down the aisle at Saddlerock Ranch!
It felt so good to finally see how everything looked for our celebration, after almost two years of planning.
The bridal squad wore diverse (gorgeous!) blush and pink dresses.
I had so much fun getting ready with my sister and mom, it’s one of my favorite memories from our wedding day.
Any advice you have about wedding planning? Just take a deep breath anything you get overwhelmed. It will all come together, trust me, it will all be worth it in the end!
There is so much energy at Persian Jewish wedding ceremonies, it was so much fun (and emotional!) to live it as the bride and groom.
One of the most popular features of a jewish wedding is when the groom shatters the glass with his right foot.
At the sound of broken glass, guests yell, “Mazal Tov!” and this concludes the ceremony!
Walking down the aisle as husband and wife, surrounded by the best of the best people..
One of the greatest pieces of advice I can give as a former bride is to hire wedding coordinators who will help take care of all the small details, because they know what they are doing.
Since our wedding was on a ranch in Malibu, we wanted it to add layers to feel the warmth of the ambiance, with chic details, and create a very magical feel.
We also loved adding in some natural rustic accents to our wedding reception, it all came together so well.
Our wedding theme was the perfect mixture of elegant, whimsical, and a romantic garden theme.
Our first dance…now that was special..so emotional in all ways!
It was a beautiful time because we made our own little choreography for our first dance. It is something we will always remember.
Enjoy every moment of your wedding because, as they say, it goes by too quickly!
