A Message From The Bride
Describe your experience with wedding planning: I would say first and foremost have a vision in your mind. A lot of weddings start to look the same and sometimes you may be afraid of trying something new because you know what works. My goal for our wedding was to really embody an authentic union not only traditionally but also authentic to us. I would also say do your research when it comes to building your wedding team.
Not only know their work and style but interview them and see how they make you feel. If they don't make you feel happy or excited in the first conversation, follow your instincts because they will be right!
I spoke to so many coordinators, photographers, glam teams, venues, the list goes on. I really feel that the team we had on our side was a dream team!! I call them a team and not vendors. Our team was by our side, knew our vision, and really brought it to life. This is my number one advise! Find your dream team team!
If you are looking for your dream team I would recommend start with looking at mine!! Not only am I OBSESSED with my team, so were our family and friends!!
Honestly, no one can stop talking about how amazing, professional, and gifted Rene and his team were or how detail oriented and involved With a Flair Events team was.
I mention them both first because I went with my instinct and selected them knowing that neither had been part of a Hindu Indian wedding ceremony. Rene is a visionary and truly a gem. He along with his team were able to capture every single moment that was unique and special of the ceremony.
We used the amazing and creative Petals LA for our florals! After meeting with Saco and Jackie I was in love! They asked me the right questions about my vision and what florals I was gravitated to.
I had described this green leaf I seen and really wanted to incorporate and they knew right a way it was called a dusty miller!
So perfectly they incorporated roses, peonies(my absolute fave), and dusty millers in all florals!
Along with the vision from Petals LA, Rental Avenue was able to create a heavenly look for our mandup and seating for our guests.
Traditionally Hindu weddings should bear the auspicious red color throughout. So it was important to me to give our wedding a true Allen and Nita look while adding the auspicious red details in my dress and jewelry, his jewelry, and our florals within a pastel palette.
With our dream team, my romantic, heavenly, and soft vision was brought to life! Allen and love you all beyond words!
How did you meet?: We met at work...Chase what matters (Chase Bank in Beverly Hills)! Having the opportunity to be friends at first really allowed us to get to know one another. Allen is really the best thing that has happened to me. I have never felt so loved, so cherished, so protected, so understood until I met him.
Allen knows what I mean to say without me saying a thing at all. Not only did he love and had the utmost respect for me and my family, he was so sincere and treated everyone with genuine respect. If you have met him, you know this to be so true. There are a few who are just so special and kind as Allen in this world. I am so lucky to have found him.
Interesting facts about the wedding or couple: Allen and I have created a bond between us that thrives on each other's happiness.
A few months after Allen and I started dating we really became one. For example, my love for spicy food! Everyone was in shock when Allen all of a sudden wanted a spicy margarita or added chili sauce to his meals. Allen found a love and often planned trips for wine tasting with our guide Sandy in Santa Barbara! Or surprising me with tickets to my favorite country artist Sam Hunt!
As for me, after we started dating, I was opened up to a world of sports! From going to the Dodgers playoffs, to the Kings playoffs, to seeing our favorite team the Greenbay Packers all my friends were shocked. They asked me do you really like watching and going to these games?
Allen and I completely enjoying every single moment spent together and today is just a tip of the iceberg. I just cannot wait to see the life of happiness we share together!
Anything additional you would like to want to mention about the two of you, the wedding day, or any advice you may have about wedding planning: Have fun and enjoy and savor every single moment. Really live in the moment and soak it all it. When you look at each other on that day, your family and friends will see the genuine love you two share.
The love you two will radiate that day and forever on is priceless and timeless.
