PreWedding
A message from the bride
Describe your experience with finding the perfect location for your PreWedding Session: Romel and I were looking for a location that was grand yet whimsical. We wanted the color scheme and aesthetic of the location to be very different from our Wedding Session.
Picking a location that would unique to us was key and Rene suggested a location that was a hidden gem. We were also looking for a venue that had various places to shoot within and found it to be perfect for multiple outfit changes.
What are your recommendations/tips for couples before/during their PreWedding Session?: My best recommendation is to pick a location unique to the couple and one that reflects their personalities and relationship. Have fun during the pre-wedding session and enjoy every minute of it - trust Rene and his guidance!
What was your favorite part about your session?: I loved EVERY part of the session! My favorite was getting the opportunity to shoot with Romel and have fun together. We laughed uncontrollably and Romel would continuously make jokes throughout. It got us even more excited for the big day!
Describe the moment he proposed!: AH the moment he proposed! Romel was traveling out of state for work and these trips were scheduled in advance. Since I hadn't spent time with my best friend for a long time, we spontaneously decided to plan a short trip to Park City, Utah while Romel was away.
When he found out 5 days before the trip that it was postponed for a week, he scheduled with my best friend to surprise me there and fly the family down for it. When I arrived in Utah, I was so excited for all of the winter activities planned that I didn't question anything else besides enjoying the moment.
The following morning during a work related photoshoot, Romel had coordinated to surprise me on location! Boy, was I surprised! I was in tears from joy and couldn't believe that the entire family was in town to celebrate as well. We spent 3 days in Park City exploring, doing activities and it was a memory that I will cherish forever.
Tell us about your very first date!: This moment makes us both laugh because it was in high school and at 15/16, most of our time spent was at school functions.
Interesting/fun facts about the couple or session : Romel and I dated in high school for a year and reunited nine years later. When reflecting back on our journey, we both knew in our hearts and what was meant to be found its way. We will be married on our 6 year anniversary!
What are you most excited about for your upcoming wedding?: I am exited about everything! There are so many little details that we have incorporated into the wedding that each mean something to us. I can't wait to see our vision come to life and have the BEST day EVER!
